Just like any other “simple” exercise, if done incorrectly this movement can injure you. However, push-ups, when done correctly, can be one of the BEST exercises to develop overall body strength! The key is knowing where you should start. There are many variations of push-ups and we have to take into consideration shoulder stability, joint health and core strength when determining these things.
Push-ups, when appropriate and done properly can quickly increase your strength in other pushing exercises and can also help to develop good core strength and stability.
